在2023年的“深圳十月音乐汇”声乐比赛中，音乐学院流行教研室青年教师蔡沐辰和袁梦媛在通俗组中表现出色，为深圳技术大学音乐学院赢得了荣誉。其中，蔡沐辰以一首《Highway Miles》征服了评委和观众，荣获一等奖。袁梦媛则以一首《All By Myself》获得了二等奖，表现同样出色。

                In the vocal competition held as part of the 2023 "Shenzhen October Music Showcase," Cai Muchen and Yuan Mengyuan from the Contemporary Commercial Music Teaching and Research Office of the School of Music demonstrated exceptional performances in the pop category, bringing honor to the Shenzhen Technology University's School of Music. Specifically, Cai Muchen conquered the judges and audience with the song "Highway Miles," earning him a first prize. Yuan Mengyuan's rendition of "All By Myself" secured her a well-deserved second prize, showcasing equally impressive talent.

据悉，“深圳十月音乐汇”活动是由深圳市委宣传部批准举办的一项音乐品牌项目，至今已经成功举办了七届。该项目致力于打造一个覆盖全市、吸收周边、辐射全国、对接国际的音乐创作、制作、演唱、演奏、交流、研讨、教育培训、发布和推广的主流平台。目标在于促进中国音乐创作和制作，提升演唱和演奏水平，汇集音乐人才和作品，展示音乐成果，提高音乐教育培训质量，拓展音乐市场，体现政府音乐惠民政策，助力城市文化繁荣，推动深圳音乐事业的发展。本次“十月音乐汇”声乐比赛吸引了众多选手参与，比赛类型包括民族唱法、美声唱法和通俗唱法。音乐学院青年教师在比赛中展现了他们优秀的实力和才华，再次为学院赢得了荣誉，这是我院音乐教育成果的体现，同时也是对青年教师努力付出的回报。

            The "Shenzhen October Music Showcase" is a music brand event approved by the Shenzhen Municipal Committee's Propaganda Department, having successfully held seven editions to date. This initiative aims to establish a mainstream platform encompassing music creation, production, singing, performance, exchange, discussions, education, training, release, and promotion that covers the entire city, attracts participation from surrounding areas, radiates nationally, and connects internationally. Its objectives include promoting Chinese music creation and production, enhancing singing and performance standards, gathering musical talents and works, showcasing musical achievements, improving music education and training quality, expanding the music market, reflecting government policies favoring music accessibility, contributing to urban cultural prosperity, and driving the development of Shenzhen's music industry.The vocal competition of this "October Music Showcase" attracted numerous participants across various singing styles, including ethnic, classical, and pop singing methods. The young faculty members from the School of Music showcased their exceptional abilities and talents, once again bringing honor to the institution. This success reflects the achievements of our music education and stands as recognition for the dedicated efforts of our young teachers.
